Killebrew’s last wishes were to remedy the Nats’ bullpen woes. A U.S. Navy veteran and longtime attorney, Killebrew asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Nationals Bullpen Fund.

Killebrew’s sense of humor in his obit attracted the attention of other Nats fans.
